In a place like the call centre, after a careful analysis of last year’s results we realised that we needed to introduce a programme that would facilitate, motivate and improve agents’ results, from a personal and corporate point of view.
S.T.E.P. “Sales Technique Elite Program” is a Training programme lasting 6 weeks designed to offer support and dedicated training to a group new people in a supportive and controlled environment.
The program is designed to improve sales skills, techniques & motivation.
It will support as a preventative measure to the Performance Improvement Process.
The goal at the end of the six weeks is to measure the results achieved.
Areas to be measured include: Call Stats, KPI, Average order size, Target level, Motivation and sales speech.
3 PROJECT INITIATION
3.1 EXPLAIN THE BENEFITS OF USING A BUSINESS CASE DOCUMENT AND OUTLINE THE MAIN COMPONENTS OF THE DOCUMENT.
A business case is the very first document where we present the project to the senior management. It explain why we should do a project, explaining the benefits of the project including a business needs, Analysis of the situation, how benefits will be measured.
Fig. 1 project management
From the business case we have noticed that the agents receive too much information all at once.
Agents tend to forget the majority of the information transmitted (forgetting curves)
Fig. 2 Project management
The result we would like to achieve is a more structured training that allows agents to practice and store the information given.

The project objectives is to keep consistency of the training material.
The assumption and constrain is a 6 weeks’ time training. The first two weeks in the training room and the last four on the floor with the rest of the team’s members
The budget doesn’t need any implementation.
The stakeholders will be the agents, trainers and coaches, IT department members, the HR department members Managers, Supervisors, Customers etc.
