Project Initiation:

Feasibility study of the project:

We will invest AED 100,000 on this project. In addition, the discount rate is 12%. To make sure that the project will be proved successful, the results of NPV, Return on investment and internal rate of return are shown below:

Year 0 1 2 3 4 5 TOTAL
Benefits 0 90000 90000 90000 90000 90000
Costs 100000 10000 10000 10000 10000 10000
Cash Flow -100000 80000 80000 80000 80000 80000
CCF -100000 -20000 60000 140000 220000 300000
Discount Factor 1.00 0.89 0.80 0.71 0.64 0.57

Discount Costs 100000 8929 7972 7118 6355 5674 136047.762
NPV AED 188,382
ROI 72%
IRR 75%
PBP 1.25

We will accept the project because of npv, which is positive (the present value of inflows is greater than the present value of outflow). Moreover, the return on investment is also high and the higher the ROI the better. The IRR exceeds the cost of capital which is the minimum required of ROI so we can accept the project based on these three financial analysis
