For this part of the assignment, you will prepare a paper that uses the evidenced provided in the course lectures, text, and resources below to describe the dietary strategies and recommendations for prevention of the following chronic diseases:
Firstly, Diabetes,
Secondly, Cardiovascular disease,
Thirdly, Hypertension, and
Fourthly, Osteoporosis.

It is expected that you will discuss diet and other relevant lifestyle factors to create a comprehensive, evidenced-based, overview.

Your written paper should:

Firstly, consist of, but not be limited to, discussions of the following nutrients: Dietary Fiber, Added Sugars, Total Fat, Saturated Fat, Sodium, Potassium, and Calcium.

Secondly, include examples of specific foods that contain these nutrients and detailed recommendations for which should be included or avoided.

Thirdly, contain specific recommendations for lifestyle interventions or habits to prevent the four chronic diseases listed above.
