REASONs for wanting to be a Nurse:
I had a near death experience in Ghana while I was lowering a bucket into a well for water. I fell into the well and saw a blinding white light. I could hear voices, but my eyesight had completely vanished. Suddenly, I felt myself being pulled out of the well and can remember being bombarded with questions of how I fell into the well. I could not find words to describe what had happened. Thankfully, someone was able to retrieve me from that well and save my life. All it took was one person to save my life, so why not dedicate my life to saving others?

ACTIVITIES IN RECENT YEARS

As a current Nurse Aide at Capital Health, nurse assistant, I performed a series of tasks that involved providing for patient’s that were ill or disabled. I gained knowledge about the field itself along with the responsibilities that came. For a long time, I have always been motivated to do good for others, solely because it made me feel good as well. Helping others makes me feel like I have a purpose, and there is no other profession that I would rather be in. I have experienced multitudinous moments such with patient that I primarily care for. There is no greater reward in life than to share your love and compassion with the world. I believe together we can all make the world a better place.
