Reflective essay that discusses your journey from proposal

For your final exam, you are to author a two- to three-page reflective essay that discusses your journey from proposal, to research, to final essay that you conducted over the course of the term.

What I want to know is how you accomplished the research progress from beginning to end.
What prompted your proposal? How did you go about researching your idea? What was it like composing the final paper? Also, What was easy? What was hard? How do you view your work? How have you grown as a writer over the term?
As you can see, I am not asking a lot in this final exam. But a reflective paper is often really enlightening, because it allows you to think about what you have done in a concrete way, so as to cement the process you undertook in your mind, thus making it a tool you use in future classes.

You do not need to cite anything in this paper. You may, if you choose, quote yourself from various projects, but again you do not need to cite yourself. Absolutely none of this requires research or citation.

You will be graded on the following:

1. Firstly, Your ability to define what you did in each step of the process.
2. Secondly, The clarity of your discussion about your process.
3. Thirdly, The quality of your writing, both in diction and syntax, and also in grammar.
4. Fourthly, Your ability to use terms appropriate to the researched argument process.
5. Also, Your ability to meet the page-length requirement.

This is not a thesis-driven paper. Rather, it is like a journal entry. Write it as if you are writing to yourself to remind yourself what you learned, reflecting on what you now know that you did not know before, and maybe even what you need to improve upon in the future as you continue your degree plan.
