Final Assignment Research Paper (40 points)
Choose one of the Psychological Disorders discussed in Chapter 15 and write a Research Paper on it.
For example, Bipolar Disorder, PTSD, Schizophrenia, Autism Spectrum Disorder (Chapter 5) etc.
Your paper should include factors such as diagnostic criteria, history and prevalence of the disorder and treatment. To make this paper more meaningful, choose a topic that is personal for you. For example, if you have a child or relative with a disorder, this will provide a great opportunity to learn more about it. If you wish, you may also do a Case Study as a part of your paper.
Explore the disorder in Part 1 and make the Case Study Part 2.
You can also conduct an interview with someone who has a disorder and who is willing to talk to you about it. Be creative.
